Academy Heights offers 1- and 2-bedroom apartments and 2-bedroom townhomes! We are located just south of Whole Foods and west of Walmart at the Academy Rd and Wyoming Blvd intersection. We are located on the Wyoming bus line (Route 31) and several walking/running/biking trails are accessible within a 1/4 mile. A spacious city park with tennis courts, basketball courts, and soccer fields is also accessible within a 1/4 mile.     APARTMENTS Our 1 and 2-bedroom apartments have very spacious kitchens with ample cabinet storage, three usable living area storage closets, and the 2nd and 3rd floor units have balconies accessed via the living room. Our apartments are all accessed via an interior hallway.         TOWNHOMES   Our townhomes have very spacious bedrooms and are separated by a full bathroom and a large storage closet. The townhomes also have a fenced patio and a full-size stackable washer and dryer unit. They also have a spacious living room and separate dining area.     PET POLICY We have a two-animal limit per unit. There are also weight and breed restrictions. The max weight for our apartments is 40 lbs at full growth and the max weight for our town homes is 80 lbs at full growth. We require all animals to be vaccinated. We require a $150.00 nonrefundable pet fee per pet. We require a $150.00 refundable pet deposit per pet. There is a $20.00 monthly pet rent per pet. Please contact us regarding breed restrictions.   AMENITIES Our property offers a year-round heated indoor pool, a fitness center, a dry sauna, and two 24-hour laundry rooms. All are located within our main building. There is also a small dog park with benches and a dogie station, a small playground, and charcoal grills available for use.         TOURS   We offer tours Monday through Friday 9:30 am - 5:30 pm. Our 1- and 2-bedroom apartments have balconies on the 2nd and 3rd floors only. All townhomes have a fenced-in patio and full-sized stackable washer and dryer units. All units will have upgraded stainless steel appliances and upgraded hardware. Fully upgraded units will have new flooring, tile kitchen backsplashes, new kitchen cabinet doors, and a new bathroom vanity.

It’s been overwhelming. I feel like I can’t ever express concerns I have without feeling like an inconvenience or being rushed or brushed off. There’s never peace of quite ever. The apartments do things that are very inconvenient. Like working on the one and only pool we have throughout and during summer. Instead of working on it before summer or in the early summer they wait until there’s a heat wave and say they will open July 1st and now being pushed back to August 1st . When August 1st comes around I can only imagine how many people will be in the pool and it will just be crowded by that point. The work on the carpets in the hall ways and tell us on the North side that we have to walk all the way around. Someone of us are elderly some of us aren’t physically capable of taking a case of water and truck of groceries all the way around from the south side to the north side and up 2-3 flights of stairs. VERY INCONVENIENT. They way the acknowledge it “it is what it is, there’s nothing we can do” The Maintenance work is done half fast. The outside maintenance is full of spiderwebs I have dogs that can get bit by unknown spiders from webs that are in the front Entrance and surrounding the balcony. They have a lot of unnecessary rules but don’t seem to have any sympathy. I will not be renewing and I will not recommend anyone else to do either.
